3,2 of Poles are currently Instagram users, out of which 41 percent are male, 59 are female. Two thirds belong to the 13-24 age range. The most popular Polish Instagram user is undoubtedly Robert Lewandowski. Next up are Maffashion, Ewa Chodakowska, Joanna Krupa, Abstrachuje TV, Anna Lewandowska, Wojciech Szczęsny I Jac Monika Jagaciak. All of the above have five-six times less followers than the Bayern Munich striker.
According to Facebook’s ad system data, created by NapoleonCat, around 3.2 million Poles use Instagram. Allow us to remind, that Instagram is both a mobile app, and a website. In July of 2015, 2.68 of Poles had an Instagram account (according to PBI/Gemius), whereas according to Mobience the Instagram web app had 1.1 million users in May of 2015, around 12 percent of all smartphone and tablet users.
According to Facebook’s data, 59 percent of Polish Instagram users are female, 28 percent are between the age of 13 and 17, 36 percent – between 18 and 24, 23 percent – 25 and 34. Older age groups have a much smaller share: 8 percent of users are between 35 and 44, 3 percent are between 45-54, 3 percent are 55 or older.
Out of Polish Instagram profiles, Robert Lewandowski’s is decisively the most popular, having around 5.1 million followers. Out of other profiles, only Suchar Codzienny and Joanna Kuchta have above 900 thousand followers (Suchar Codzienny has 970 004), whereas seven profiles have between 600 thousand and 720 thousand: Maffashion, Ewa Chodakowska, Joanna Krupa, Abstrachuje TV, Anna Lewandowska, Wojciech Szczęsny and Jac Monika Jagaciak.
In the top 50 of Polish accounts youtubers, models, bloggers and music stars are most prevalent. From other categories, it’s worth to note the most popular profiles dedicated to clothing, like Fi-Fi Moda, cosmetics, like INDIGO NAILS, and journalistic, like Agnieszka Szulim.
